  • GIRO - GIRO is really well-known all over the world as a top-producer of bike helmets of every kind. The web site is nice, offers information on the products, a FAQ section, help to find the right helmets for you and more.

  • LIMAR - Limar is an Italian company producing a very complete range of bike helmets. The company is also sponsoring Paola Pezzo. The site is really wide, offering a complete and easy-to-use online shop with prices, description and technical specs about every model, news, links, dealers and a company profiles. It uses graphics in a moderate and useful way without making the page too slow.

  • MONDOSPORT - An Italian company offering a complete and wide range of bags and panniers for bikes. For MTB raids check out particularly the tourism section, offering models that seem large, resistant and also nice. The web site is classic and simple, easy to browse, and offers pictures, technical details and range of colors available for each bag.

  • NORTHWAVE - A company more and more famous for its cycling shoes used by World Champion Paola Pezzo. They offer a complete range of models with high-quality features. The site is modern, wide and complete. It is based on a strong graphics but I found pictures and text too small. It's really complete and offers extremely detailed technical information on every part of every shoe.

  • POLAR - They produce very useful and more and more widespread accessories: heart rate monitors. Polar is a Finnish company known all over the world for its high-quality products offered in a broad range of different versions. The site is nice, modern and very attracting. It also offers complete information on the company and the products.

  • ROME BIKE BAGS - This company offers a bicycle protector bag that completely encloses any bike. It is water resistant and can be useful for those who don't have a garage or simply want to protect their bike from dust, water, snow, rust, bumps. The site seems rather new and is in part under construction but offers adequate information, photos and interesting press reviews.

  • SCI CON - An Italian company that specializes in bags for bicycles. From the simple undersaddle to the big bags for long raids. I can say, after many tours, that producing a high-quality bag for a raid is very difficult, so if you plan a long trip, be sure you choose the best bags. The site is very nice, clear, simple to browse, with many images and even animated images showing how to mount the bags.

  • SIDI - A manufacturer of high-quality MTB shoes. Nice site with clear and detailed information on the different models. Check out the special adjustment and tightening solutions of the 1996 range.

  • SIGMA SPORT - A German manufacturer of bike components. Famous for their complete range of good cyclometers they offer also heart rate monitors, light systems and glasses. The site is modern, well done, with easy to read and complete technical data for each product. Pictures are clear and detailed. Unfortunately there is no company profile but the site is in four different languages.

  • TOPEAK - Topeak specializes in MTB accessories, especially very light and compact tool sets. But they offer also bike carriers, pumps, fenders, bags and other components. The site, with really beautiful mountain photos, is easy to browse and access to information is straightforward. Unfortunately there are very long pages that can take a lot to load with slow connections.
